僕の携帯電話のメアドは”try a little tenderness”です（笑）
けどオーティスが航空機事故で亡くなった1967年12月10日は、
たった５歳。キング牧師が暗殺されたのが翌年。
何も知らずに過ごしていました。
彼を本当に知ったのは19歳、清志郎と友人のＴＯさんを通して（笑）
ぶっ飛びましたね。ガッタ、ガッタって感じでした。
このメンフィスの怪物が生存していない事実を呪いました。
事実として以前から知ってはいたけど残念で仕方なかったです。
それから二十余年。未だに彼は僕の心を捉えて離しません。
スティーブ・クロッパー、ドナルド・ダック・ダン、ブッカー・Ｔ、
オーティスが僕に教えてくれた素晴らしいミュージシャン達と共にこの日を悼みます。
やっぱ学校以外で学ぶ事って、いっぱいあるもんですね。
