直流化開業

JR湖西線・北陸本線直流化(敦賀市)

平成18年10月21日にJR湖西線・北陸本線が直流化開業し、
いよいよ敦賀~京阪神間を直通新快速列車が走ります。

関係ない方には馴染みがない言葉かと思いますが、滋賀県の一部から敦賀の区間で、
JR電車の電流が交流だったために、特急列車などは電源を切り替えて走ってたんですね。
今回、その区間が直流化されたため、新快速とかも乗り入れできる事になりました。
姫路から敦賀まで。わはは!敦賀は関西ローカルです(笑)
特急電車もそのまま継続して運行されるので、目的や用途に合わせて選択が出来るらしい。
実際は午前6時30分~10時30分に敦賀発がなく、まるで役に立たないダイヤなのですが。
こんなダイヤでバカにされてるにも関わらず、敦賀はお祭り騒ぎです。
先日、敦賀駅に行った時にも直流化開業イベントの準備してたけど、当日は駅前の駐車場は、
多くが関係者(来賓と思われる)のために確保されるようで、一般市民は自動車を停めるなって
ことみたいですよ。関係者こそ公共機関を使うなり、山のほうからバスで輸送すりゃいいのに。
まぁ市民不在はいつものことなので驚きもしませんが。
イベントまでに僕は敦賀を脱出する予定なので、目にする機会がなく幸運かと思います(笑)
実際に利用価値はと言えば、京都に日帰りとかを思いついた時には使えるかな?
大阪へ向かう時は、まさに「時は金なり」状態で、特急料金をケチって滞在時間を減らす方が
痛いですから特急を使います。てか、早く新幹線を!(笑)

たぶん来週これに乗って敦賀の友人が遊びに来ます^^
東京時代、会社帰り週2で青山にあるドイツ語講座に通ってて東京から三方に帰ってきたときに暇でドイツ語の代わりにしようとジオスに通ってました^^;その時に出来た友人です。
時代屋も実はこのジオスのイギリス人の先生のお別れ会で初めて行き、存在を知って敦賀にもこんなお店があったんだと!感動したんです^^;
そして当時若狭にいたささじを誘って通い出したという感じなんですよ。

おお、利用客がいましたね(^^)
そう、時間が合えば使えるんですね。
お友達の来訪、楽しみですね。

The manufacturing process of copper can be described in several stages. Mining: The first stage of the manufacturing process is mining. Concentrating: Once the ore is ground, it is then subjected to a process called flotation, which helps to separate the copper from other minerals. In this step, chemicals are added to the ore to help it float to the top while other minerals sink to the bottom. The resulting concentrate contains a high percentage of copper. Smelting: The concentrate is then transported to a smelter where it is heated to very high temperatures in a furnace, usually with the addition of fluxes. The copper concentrate reacts with the fluxes to form a melt that is rich in copper and other impurities. The impurities form a slag that floats on top of the melt and is removed. Refining: The copper is then refined to remove other impurities such as sulfur and iron. This is typically done through a process of electrorefining or fire refining. Electrorefining involves passing an electric current through the copper to remove impurities while fire refining involves heating the copper to a very high temperature to burn off the impurities. Casting: Once the copper has been refined, it is then ready to be cast into various shapes and forms. Most commonly, copper is cast into ingots or billets, which can be further processed into products such as wire, tubing, and sheet metal. Overall, the manufacturing process of copper involves several stages, each of which is critical to producing high-quality copper products.
