「STILL LIFE」／ROLLING STONES
81年全米ツアーのライヴ盤。
かってロンドンレコード時代の再販キャンペーンのコピーに
「ストーンズを嫌いな奴は信じない。世界中の誰だって。」
ってのがあった。加藤和彦の言葉。
トノバンがどんなつもりで云ったか知らないけど、
僕の記憶に刻み込まれてる。激しく同意と（笑）
ストーンズを知らない奴や、興味のない奴なら、それでいい。
知ってて、嫌いな奴なんて、信用出来る訳はないから（笑）
このツアーの時はミック、キース共に３８歳。
年老いたなと感じた。熟練なんて印象はない。なんて元気なジジイ達なんだと思った。

このアルバムに収められてる曲は、新鮮味のない有名な曲ばかりだ。
ファンにとって聴き古されている曲ばかりである。
ストーンズにはもっとかっこいい曲もいっぱいあるし、かっこいいライブもいっぱいある。
ストーンズの中で好きな曲や好きなアルバムを選べと言うのがナンセンスである。
その日、その時によって好きな曲や好きなアルバムなんて、変わるのだから。
僕としては、あんまり音質とかもうるさく云いたくはない。
ストーンズの曲なんてのは、車の中でＣＤチェンジャーにでも何枚もぶち込んで、ジュークボックス
さながらランダムに流れてくる曲を楽しむか、iPodにでも入るだけ入れてシャッフルして楽しむか。
そんな感じでいいのだと思う。えっ、僕？僕はそんなことやらないよ。
だって車の中で聴いたら血圧上がって危険でしょうが。iPodつけて歩いてる時に、”Heart Of Stone”
とか”You Can’t Always Get What You Want”とか流れてきたら「かーっくいい！」とか呟いて、
気持ち悪がられるでしょうが。腕の振りがミックになってたら、バカでしょうが（笑）
だから、やらないけど、正しいのはそういう形だ。
話を「STILL LIFE」に戻すと、この時の「サティスファクション」なんかはアップテンポだ。
なんでか解らないけど、普通歳を食うとスローとか落ち着いた感じになるもんなんだけど。
元気なジジイなんである。演奏も、よく言えばラフ、悪く言えば雑。
前述した通り、このツアーの時がミック、キース共に３８歳で、今思えばまだ若かったんだな。
現在の僕より若い（笑）
僕が初めてストーンズを東京ドームで観たのが９０年。僕、２８歳。ミック４７歳。
今月末、ローリング・ストーンズはニュー・アルバム”A Bigger Bang”をリリースしてツアーに出る。
わはは！何も変わっちゃいないさ。ミック、キース６２歳か。
それを聴いたり観たりするために、僕が歳を食うのもアリだなと思えます。

おほほ、IWAさんい～とこ突いてきたねー。
「STILL LIFE」、渋谷陽一の「FMサウンド・ストリート」でこのアルバムの特集をやったときのゲストはチャボだったんだ、思い出した。
ぼくは見事にiPodに入れてて時々シャッフルで出てきますよ（笑）。シングルカットされた「Going To A Go-Go」のB面には「Beast Of Burden」が入っていて、ぼくはこれが一番好きなんだけど残念なことにアルバム未収録なんですよ。だからDVDのほうも楽しんでます。

おー、あの時にも流れてたなよな、「Beast Of Burden」。このテイクはいいぞ。僕も大好きだ。
てか、アナログの時代ですが、あのツアーは「STILL LIFE」より凄い音源がいっぱいあったなー。全部、海賊版ですが。
探したなー、二人で。懐かしいです。
