僕の心の洋楽盤[01/10]

「クイーンⅡ（セカンド）」／クイーン
“Musical Baton”で書き損ねたので（笑）
最近、なぜか評価の高いクイーンなんですが。
僕はフレディが亡くなった時点でクイーンは終わりって思ってるけど、
発売された当時は”We will rock you”を毎日聞いてました。
けど、現在やたら使われてて、うんざりしてるってのが本音です。
あの曲は、４枚目にして出した「オペラ座の夜」で極みに達し、
５枚目の「華麗なるレース」で円熟度を増し、ほぼ行き場を失くしかけた
ように見えたクイーンが、苦悩の末に出した答えである６枚目のアルバムの１曲目なのです。同アルバムに収録されている「伝説のチャンピオン」同様に
クイーンの意志がヒシヒシと伝わってくる曲なのです。
どちらの曲とも、現在では曲解されて、ふさわしくないシーンで多用されています。
ちゃんと歌詞を読めば、おかしいと解るはずなんですが。
別にマニアぶったりしたい訳じゃなく正しい理解を求めたい。
そして、通ぶったりしたい訳じゃないけど僕の心のクイーンは「クイーンⅡ（セカンド）」にあります。

初期のクイーンは単なるミーハーバンド扱いで、本国でも相手にされなかったとか。
まぁベイシティローラーズは言わずもがな、色々いましたからね。確かにキワモノ多かった。
でも、クイーンはミーハーバンドってより、インテリバンドでした（笑）
学歴はともかく（なんか博士号とか持ってるんだけど）、何だあのギターは！って云うブライアン・メイのギターとか。何でもオヤジと自作したらしいですよ。削り出したのか？
スタジオとかで使ってたアンプもジョン・ディーコンの自作らしいとか。
で、何よりこの頃の音に驚いて欲しい。1974年ですからね。パソコンもなければシンセも黎明期。
今なら簡単に作れる音も当時は執拗なほどオーバーダブして作ったに違いないのです。
何とも信じられないことです。
まぁ、現在発売されてるＣＤとかリマスターされてるかもしれません。
３枚目の「シアー・ハート・アタック」でもいいのです。
ドラマチックかつダイナミックな展開をみせるクイーンサウンドを堪能できます。
ただ３枚目は「キラー・クイーン」が入ってるからな。いや、あれも名曲ですが。
クイーンは決して「キラー・クイーン」と「ボヘミアンラプソディー」「We will rock you」
「伝説のチャンピオン」だけじゃない。と知らしめたいので（笑）
しっかりした演奏とあの声域。４人が４人とも素晴らしいです。
不思議なことに、ゼップやフーやストーンズなど僕の大好きなバンドは、その確信的な音を
僕に提示してくれます。僕は、それによって感銘を受けたり、体が自然と動くのです。
しかし、「クイーンⅡ（セカンド）」や「シアー・ハート・アタック」が提示してくれるのは、
『奇跡』です。少なくとも僕にとってクイーンは奇跡のバンドなのです。

実は僕、歌詞も曲名もどうでもいい人種なんです（笑）実はタイトルすら相当有名な曲じゃないと分かりません。だからspread your wingsも何を歌っているのかも誰が書いたのかも知らないのです。究極の感覚派ギタリストです。
「ＲＯＣＫオヤジ!!」では相当有名な話で毎回そっち系のネタのツッコミメールや誤字脱字指摘メールをよくいただいてます。

とてもきれいなリングです
少しキラキラ感のあるシルバー色のリングを探していました。
サイズが9号とのことでしたが、普段がものによっては8号の場合もあるので
