イタリア郷土料理研究家の長本和子さんが長年に渡り現地で丁寧に取材、撮影した
みずみずしい野菜の写真と伝統野菜の蘊蓄、野菜本来の味が楽しめるシンプルな料理法や
食べ方を紹介する楽しい１冊です。

「イタリア料理の神髄は穀物と野菜にあり」らしいですから（笑）
単にイタリア野菜を扱った本ではないです。
辞書とか図鑑的な使い方も出来ますが、読み物としても成立しています。
オールカラー版なのではの楽しさもあります。
僕はイタリア通になりたいとも思いませんし、イタリア料理に深く関わる気もないですが、
それでも十分に興味を満たしてくれる１冊です。
僕は、値段に見合った価値のある良い書籍だと思います。
